Etched in the Pulse of UNZA.
The Monk Square is named after the historic plaza located at the entrance of the Old Residence hostels—popularly known as "The Ruins". For decades, this physical square has served as the University of Zambia’s primary podium for public address.
It is a space etched into the university’s history as the heartbeat of student expression. We honor this legacy by transforming agitation into articulation.
